Start from the measurement

Monitoring usually arrives as separate instrument packages, each with its own software, its own screen and its own support arrangement. We work the other way round: every system starts from what has to be measured and which standard applies. Each of the six areas below opens on the systems within it, the standards that apply, and what a delivered scope contains.

Start from the asset

Most people arrive knowing the asset rather than the measurement. These are the four we work on most, and the monitoring areas above apply across all of them.

Your site isn’t here?

Neither was a hovering search and rescue helicopter, until a client needed to understand what downwash does at ground level across several helicopter types. We designed and built a robotic anemometer carriage to drive beneath each aircraft in the hover, verified the anemometers in a wind tunnel, and worked with a university lidar team so that the flow field was measured by two independent methods. Part of the work was published in a peer-reviewed journal. If a decision on your site depends on a reading you can trust, on a solar farm, at a port, on an airfield, on a rocket launch pad or somewhere we haven’t thought of, tell us what has to be measured and we’ll tell you what it takes.

A reading nobody trusts is worse than no reading at all

Critical assets in harsh places are where a monitoring system earns its keep, and where a lesser one quietly stops reporting. Ours are specified, built and verified so the number on the screen can carry a decision.

Let’s discuss your monitoring requirements

A new system, an upgrade to an existing installation, or specification support for a project: our engineers are the people to talk to.
