PACE – Processing & Collection Engine

Helideck & Meteorological Data Acquisition and Processing (Legacy Support)

PACE (Processing & Collection Engine) is the proprietary real-time data processing software originally developed by Muir Matheson and now supported by WISE Group.

It remains in active use across many helideck and environmental monitoring installations and continues to be fully supported for customers with existing deployments.

What PACE Does

PACE acquires, validates and processes data from connected meteorological and motion sensors in real time, generating aviation-ready parameters and outputs critical for safe helideck operations.

Key Features

  • Real-time data acquisition & processing
Continuously gathers all connected meteorological and motion sensor inputs.
  • Derived aviation parameters
Calculates aviation-relevant observations (e.g. QFE/QNH, means, gusts) for compliant helideck reporting.
  • Configurable alerts & thresholds
Set limits to notify operators of out-of-range conditions.
  • Automatic logging & data export
1-minute internal logging; exportable in standard formats (CSV).
  • Historic graphing & analysis
View trends, histories and anomalies over time.
  • Secure, configurable operation
    Password-controlled settings for operational integrity.

Support & Maintenance

Although PACE is considered a legacy product and not actively enhanced, WISE Group fully supports customers with existing PACE installations through our support channels.

If you need assistance with PACE, legacy configuration issues, connectivity or report generation, our support team is ready to help. See our Knowledge Base for solutions and guidance — or submit a ticket for support.

Data Distribution & External Platforms

PACE supports forwarding processed data to onshore platforms, including the WISE Group MM Weather service — the established web-based data collection and distribution platform used by many customers to share environmental and helideck data with stakeholders and operational teams.

As MM Weather evolves, Orbalux Cloud serves as the next-generation platform — expanding on MM Weather with modern cloud-native telemetry, scalable storage, analytics, dashboards and API-first integration capabilities.

PACE can upload data directly into Orbalux, allowing customers to leverage a unified cloud environment for access, visualisation and long-term data management.
