Integrated Monitoring Systems for Demanding Environments
WISE Group delivers complete and reliable monitoring systems built to perform in some of the most demanding offshore and industrial environments. With decades of experience and a deep understanding of operational requirements, we integrate best-in-class sensors, ruggedised hardware, and advanced software into systems that support safe, efficient, and compliant operations. Whether you need helideck and weather data, structural motion insight, or advanced marine operation tracking, our systems are trusted by global clients for their accuracy, durability, and ease of integration.
EMS / HMS & Weather Monitoring
Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS), Helideck Monitoring Systems (HMS), and associated weather monitoring technologies are a foundational part of offshore infrastructure. These systems typically include sensors for wind, temperature, pressure, wave motion, visibility, and gas concentration. Their purpose is to provide accurate, real-time data for weather-dependent operations, flight safety, emergency response planning, and compliance with international offshore aviation and marine standards such as CAP437 and ISO 19901-1.
- Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS)
Also known as Weather Stations or MetOcean systems, our EMS are vital tools for onshore and offshore operations. Utilising the well-proven DADAS software, these systems measure parameters such as wind, temperature, barometric pressure, sea currents, and waves, providing reliable data to support critical decision-making. - Helideck Monitoring Systems (HMS)
We have been instrumental in developing Helideck Monitoring Systems since their inception. Our HMS comply with global standards, including CAA CAP 437, NORMAM-223, and the Norwegian Standard for HMS systems, ensuring safe helicopter operations on offshore platforms and vessels. - Squall Warning System
Stay ahead of severe weather with our advanced Squall Warning System, featuring cutting-edge technology from Furuno. Designed for maritime and offshore environments, this system delivers real-time alerts to ensure safety during sudden and dangerous squalls. - Current Measurement / Current Profile Systems
Utilising profiling current sensors (ADCPs), these systems provide vital information about sea currents. The DADAS software offers user-friendly displays, granting quick and valuable insights into current conditions. - Forecasting Weather Systems
Long-range weather prediction systems supporting operational planning for offshore activities. - Weather Stations
Turnkey packages for sensor integration and data logging at remote offshore or coastal sites. - Air Quality Monitoring System
Monitoring of gas levels, particulates and atmospheric pollutants on offshore platforms and industrial sites.
Structural Health & Asset Monitoring
Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) systems are used to assess the integrity and dynamic response of offshore structures including wind turbine foundations, platforms, hulls and vessel decks. Commonly used sensors include accelerometers, strain gauges, tilt sensors, and inertial motion units (IMUs). These systems are often part of long-term maintenance strategies or digital twin implementations, supporting fatigue life analysis, structural verification, and asset life extension.
- Structural Health Monitoring System (SHMS)
Multi-sensor system measuring vibration, displacement and modal behaviour of offshore structures. - Hull Stress Monitoring Systems
Monitoring system for ship hull integrity, measuring strain and motion to prevent structural damage.. - Life Extension Systems
Extend the operational lifetime of offshore or marine structures by monitoring vital parameters. We design and install systems tailored to the specific needs of each structure, ensuring longevity and safety. - Vessel Motion Monitoring Systems (VMMS)
Our Motion Measurement Systems are based on the advanced Adaptive Inertial Matrix (AIM) sensor, employing sophisticated MEMS technology to detect and accurately measure accelerations and angular motions across six degrees of freedom (6DOF). These systems are essential for monitoring vessel and structural movements in marine applications. - Pipeline Telemetry System (PMS)
Telemetry system to monitor pipeline performance parameters such as pressure and flow across long distances.
Excursion & Marine Operations Monitoring
Marine operations monitoring systems provide critical insight into vessel position, movement, approach speed, and environmental conditions during dynamic offshore activities. These systems help operators manage safety margins, reduce human error during berthing or station-keeping or dynamic positioning scenarios.
- Excursion Monitoring System (ExcMS)
Designed to ensure the safety and efficiency of FPSO units and offshore floating wind farms, the RUP ExcMS features advanced GNSS receivers and 6-axis accelerometers for precise position tracking, real-time alerts for motion discrepancies, and comprehensive data analysis. The system can be enhanced with the Mooring Line Tension (MLT) module, compliant with DNV standards. - Tanker Berthing Aid System
System for monitoring vessel distance and speed during berthing, ensuring precise and safe docking.
CCTV Systems
CCTV and camera-based monitoring systems are widely used in offshore and maritime industries to enhance operational awareness, especially in crane operations, blind zones, and helidecks. These systems often include ruggedised PTZ cameras, recording units, and integration with bridge or control room displays for real-time visual confirmation.
Other Systems
In many cases, a monitoring system must be tailored to address specific operational or technical requirements. Custom monitoring systems integrate selected sensors, processing tools, and visualisation technologies to solve unique challenges across offshore, marine, and industrial sectors.

Upgrading Older Systems
We perform unconditional surveys of older MetOcean systems—regardless of the supplier—to evaluate their condition and recommend necessary upgrades. A thorough report documents the status of existing equipment and proposes enhancements to reduce service and maintenance needs.
